About Zimlink

Zimlink is a free directory of Zimbabwean-owned businesses in the United Kingdom. There are an estimated 150,000–200,000 Zimbabweans in the UK, and no single place to find the businesses among them. That was the gap.

It currently lists 89 businesses across 25 categories and 33 towns and cities.

The first listings were compiled from public community records — chiefly sixteen years of Zimbabwe Achievers Awards UK nominee and winner lists, alongside published sponsor and exhibitor rosters from Zimbabwean diaspora business events.

Every business we listed this way gets an email or letter inviting them to claim the listing, and can have it removed on request, no questions asked.

Zimbabwean ownership is self-declared. We do not ask for passports, visas or any proof of nationality — under UK data protection law, nationality and ethnic origin are sensitive personal data, and a directory has no business collecting them.

Our verification badges are about whether the business is real and trading, not about anyone's background. Every listing has a report button, and the community polices itself better than we could.

We publish business contact details only — the sort a business already advertises. We do not publish directors' names, home addresses, or personal email addresses.
